Okay folks, I have a dead guy.  He was murdered (by my client – it is on video).  Current offer is 3rd degree, 15 year minimum OR open plea to third and we have an actual day long hearing before the sentencing judge to allow him to pick the minimum.  Lots of issues there, all by itself.

However, the autopsy report has this:

Now, I am no forensic toxicologist or drug expert by any stretch.  However, that Cocaine and Benzoylecgonine seem REALLY high.  Looking to use this to drive the number down closer to the bottom of the standard range without having to consider a sentencing hearing.

Anyone have someone that is totally awesome?  I would be looking to have them write a report that explains the impact of the drugs on the behavior of the victim.
